The television studio was an amazing experience. I learned a lot about how a real tv studio works. Usually, when watching on tv, all thats seen is the talent. I got a close look at how many jobs there are to putting on a real television production. One job I learned how to do was be the director of the whole production. The director is a stressful job because basically, you are telling everyone what to do at the exact time when they should do it and then they have to execute. If you miss telling them something, then it's on you and likely that part of the production. The job that was hardest for me was the Sound Board. You are basically controlling the sound of the whole production so you have to make sure the talents volume is similar and the sound for the introduction and conclusion, that the sound is on. It is stressful because sound is one of the most important things in a production. As you know, the talent was my favorite job. As I did it a few more times, I started to get the hang of it and feel even more comfortable. I also realized that getting enough breath before a word is said is valued because you do not want to run out of breath in the middle of your sentence. In conclusion, the tv studio was a blast and I hope to continue working in there as the semester goes on.
