As our class started to learn the in's and outs of the studio, I started as the floor director. Floor director was a cool experience because I got to control everything going on in the studio and could communicate with the director in the control room. For example, I would tell the talent when to start talking and give them hand signals to talk faster or slower. My next job was the camera. For the camera, we had to learn the right shot and focus in between the two talents and also make sure that the desk they were at was in view. After, I got to be the talent. That definitely was my favorite job. Mr. Goble taught us to sit up on the edge of our chair and to read the propter slowly. Reading the prompter at first was weird but once I got used to it, naturally it came. Overall, the first tv studio jobs were great and I genuinely enjoyed the experience.
